Obituary for Diane Prest (White)

Panama City Beach, FL

Diane (White) Prest, 65, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, July 1, 2017 in Panama City Beach, FL.

Born on Nov. 18, 1951 in Glens Falls, she was the daughter of W. Russell White and the late Evelyn M. (Bentley) White.

Diane graduated from South Glens Falls High School in 1969. In 1985 she graduated from Adirondack Community College where she received an associate’s degree in Criminal Justice. She furthered her degree in Criminal Justice at Memphis State College graduating in 1989 with her bachelor’s degree.

She was a member of the Northstar Church in Panama City, FL. Diane worked for 25 years at the Keeton Corrections in Panama City. She enjoyed spending time with her family and especially her grandson.

In addition to her father, Diane is survived by her children, Kelli Suydam and her husband, Ryan of Manchester, NH, Tony Prest and his wife, Kelly of Rotterdam, and Thomas Prest of Denver, CO; her grandson, Cooper Suydam of Manchester, NH; her brother, Larry White and his wife, Teri of Keene, NY; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

At Diane’s request there will be no calling hours.

Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.

Donations may be made in Diane’s name to a charity of one’s choice.
