Obituary for Darlene Ann Clark (Matt)
QUEENSBURY
Darlene A. (Matt) Clark, 66, passed away at her home on Monday, March 18, 2019 surrounded by her loving family.
Born January 17, 1953 in Glens Falls, NY, she was the daughter of the late William and Elizabeth (Kibling) Matt.
On April 30, 1976, Darlene married Thomas Clark.
Darlene was employed for many years by CR Bard but was better known for her bartending and people skills at Len and Peg’s, Mernie’s and the Hawkeye. She loved running football pools and various pool leagues. Darlene was an avid Giants fan, as well as being a huge animal lover. She will always be remembered for her “wild kingdom” in her backyard. Darlene also loved drawing and playing games on the computer. She will be fondly remembered for always wanting everyone to feel included and making sure everyone was having a good time.
In addition to her parents, Darlene was predeceased by her brother Danny Matt.
Left to cherish her memory are her husband of 43 years, Thomas A. Clark, her son, Thomas J. Clark, her brothers; David Matt and his wife Chris, and Donald Matt, her sisters, Diane Meany, Denise McDonald and her husband Tom, and Debbie Morykon and her husband Pete, as well as several nieces, nephews, brothers-in-law, and sisters-in-law.
Friends may call from 1-3pm on Saturday, March 23, 2019 at the M.B. Kilmer Funeral Home, 82 Broadway, Fort Edward, NY 12828. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
