Edward William Porter, 66, passed away on Wednesday, February 27, 2019, at Glens Falls Hospital after battling with cancer.
Born on October 29, 1952, in Glens Falls, he was the son of the late Bernard and Ethel (Suprenant) Porter.
Edward graduated from Hudson Falls High School. On August 15, 1987, Edward married Catherine Winchell at the Village Baptist Church in Fort Edward.
He worked for Ackroyd Metal Fabricators Inc., in Albany for many years.
Edward enjoyed riding his motorcycle, working with sheet metal and welding. Edward was a very crafty man who loved his job.
In addition to his parents, Edward was predeceased by his brothers, Roger, Danny and Jay Porter.
Left to cherish his memory include his wife of 31 years, Catherine; his daughter, Heather Robinson and her husband, Jeremy; his grandchildren, JR, Mackenzie and Laci; his sisters, Mary Jane Foster and her husband, Chuck, Ginny Clark and her husband, Tim; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
