Obituary for Gloria H. Stoughton (Humphries)
FORT EDWARD
Gloria H. Stoughton, 93, passed away peacefully on Friday, February 22, 2019 at the Fort Hudson Nursing Home.
Born September 4, 1925 in Egg Harbor, NJ, she was the daughter of the late Melville and Casilda (Yrachetta) Humphries.
In addition to her parents, Gloria was predeceased by her husband, Harold Stoughton Jr., her son Harold Stoughton III, her daughters-in law, Shirley Stoughton and Denais Etu-Stoughton, and her brother Robert Humphries.
Left to cherish her memory are her children; Mark Stoughton (Patty), Scott Stoughton, and Nancy Cutler (Tim), her daughter-in-law, Rebecca Daniels, her grandchildren; TJ Cutler (Tracey), Katie Fiorillo (Tony), Amy Boucher (Paul), Kensey Batchelder (Tim), Allyson and Mary Stoughton, Jill Scanlon (Anthony), and Shea and Gabrielle Stoughton, her step-grandchildren, Tricia Rogers and Carla Lail, her sister-in-law Mildred Humphries, eight great-grandchildren, as well as several nieces and nephews.
At Gloria’s request there will be no calling hours.
A graveside service will be conducted on Wednesday May 15, 2019 at 11am at Union Cemetery in Fort Edward.
Arrangements are in the care of the M.B. Kilmer Funeral Home, 82 Broadway, Fort Edward, NY 12828.
Memorial donations in Gloria’s name can be made to the Juvenile Diabetes Foundation Northeastern NY Chapter, 6 Greenwood Dr., East Greenbush, NY 12061.
