Fort Edward

Tammy Jane Somers, 54, passed away on Friday, August 24, 2018, at her home.

Born on June 11, 1964, in Plattsburgh, NY, she was the daughter of the late Fredrick Carl and Gisele Simone (Pelletier) Somers.

Tammy graduated from Amesbury High School in 1982 and went on to get her cosmetology license. Most recently she worked at Price Chopper in Malta, but her favorite job was at Micro Fab.

She loved watching her shows on TV, cooking, shopping, and spending time with her grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Tammy was predeceased by her son, Christopher Harvey and her former fiancée, Cornelius J. Wood.

Left to cherish her memory include her daughter, Courtney Doty and her husband, Jeff of Hudson Falls and their children Aiden, Liam and Kayleigh; her daughter, Chaundra Harvey of Fort Edward and her son, Bryce Livingston; her son, Sean Somers-Wood and his wife, Christina Murray of Clifton Park and their son, Sean Somers-Wood Jr.; her brother, Frederick Somers and his wife, Lisa and their daughters, Alyssa and Amanda Somers; her brother, Carl Somers and his wife, Christine; and her sister, Linda Somers and her husband, Frank and her children, Danielle, Justin and Jahred Nisselbeck; and several cousins.

Friends may call from 2 to 3pm on Friday, August 31, 2018 at M.B. Kilmer Funeral Home, 82 Broadway, Fort Edward, NY 12828.

A Memorial Service will follow the calling hour at the funeral home.

Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
