Aunt Connie was a straight forward shooter and knew how to enjoy life. I'll never forget joining her, Uncle Neil, "Little" Neil and Nancy for summer weekend boating camp outs on the islands of Lake George when I was a kid. Ripples on the water, stars in the sky and raccoons ravaging garbage cans as we sat around the fire singing to songs played on the ukulele.
